FDA UK have launched a new document storage service - a walk-in secure fireproof vault constructed from 2 hour fire resistant panels. The unit is full racked to allow the secure storage of documents such as Wills, with client's gaining full and quick access to the files using FDA UK's existing delivery options.

"Our research and feedback from our clients led us to look into the possibility of supplying a fireproof storage option. With this in mind we constructed the current unit in one of our secure warehouses", said Philip Matthews, Managing Director of FDA UK Ltd.

Philip Matthews, director says," With 10 years experience in the document management sector we knew the requirements of a successful document management software package, so we developed our own as we were unable to find an off the shelf solution that met our requirements. From the moment you place a new box into storage our software is tracking the location of the box and the contents, maintaining a full audit history. The software has implemented barcode technology, so we can also reduce operator error".
